Karthi's dual role in Siruthai

Upcoming superstar Karthi who is on a success ride with his latest release ‘Naan Mahaan Alla’, is all planning to have its next film ‘Siruthai’ release in the month of December. The film is said to be a remake of a tollywood block buster ‘Vikramarkudu’. Karthi is going to play dual role for the first time in his career.

On speaking about his characters in the film, he says “Both characters are strikingly different from each other and give me ample scope for performance. As an actor, I am really happy to take up the challenge in Siruthai.”

Shiva who has earlier directed films like ‘Souryam’ and ‘Sankham’ is wielding the megaphone for the film and produced by K E Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green. Tamannaah plays the love interest of Karthi. Comedy portion will be taken care of by Santhanam. The film is said to be an emotional movie which will be packed commercially.

On being as the brand ambassador for a top telecom company, the actor says, “This shows the faith they have in me. Otherwise, it would not have been possible for a four-film old actor”.
