We already reported that Karthi's forthcoming movie directed by debutant Shankar Dayal Saguni is a political satire.Now the sources says that karthi's character will have shades of political lobbyist Nira Radia, who kicked up the 2G controversy.
Says a source close to the film's unit, "Being a political satire, Karthi's character undergoes a transformation in the film and some of the things that the character does will remind you of the Nira Radia episode. However, the director has given the role a positive spin and so the character's actions will actually benefit the common man."
Shankar Dayal, says that Karthi plays a dogooder in the film. "Karthi's character is a good human being who wants to change society for the better," is all he reveals. He adds that while the film will have political elements, it will also have all the elements of a typical commercial film. "Saguni is a positive film which will have political elements. We have satirized everything from politics to love," he says.
